Cadence Bank Arena

The Cadence Bank Arena and Conference Center consistently hosts the largest meetings and best performers by offering the highest quality facilities and services.

From our spectacular Grand Opening on October 9, 1993 to the present, the facility continues to be a favorite stop among artists.

We have hosted numerous entertainment events boasting sellout crowds. Artists such as Elton John, the Eagles, Jason Aldean, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Nickelback and Aerosmith all have played the BancorpSouth Arena drawing capacity crowds. The building is so “artist friendly” that Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean, Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Reba and Alan Jackson have all booked the facility for weeks of show rehearsals. This type of business pays compliment to the Cadence Bank Arena, as well as the entire city of Tupelo.

Robinson Middle

The new middle school provides appropriate space for its existing student population as well for the expansion by constructing a new cluster of buildings containing approximately 145,000-square-feet of classrooms, administrative, gym, dining, commons and support areas.

The new middle school provides enhancements in music and STEM learning environments. The core academic wing of the school is divided into three distinct learning communities, one for each grade. STEM learning labs are located in each community for shared use.

The building is three stories with single-story high bay components including a media center, gymnasium, dining and theater. The shared multipurpose facility is a free-standing structure.

ORION FCU HQ

Daniel Weickenand, CEO of Orion Federal Credit Union, announced today Orion is in the process of moving their corporate headquarters to the former Wonder Bread bakery building at 400 Monroe Avenue (Memphis, TN 38103).

Orion’s decision to move to the Edge District was an intentional effort by the Orion Board of Directors and executive team to address long-term blight and drive economic development in Memphis. The search for the Orion headquarters site was extensive, covering all areas of the city.

The Wonder Bread factory has been vacant since 2013, making the stretch of Monroe Avenue near the building and several surrounding properties a visible eyesore that could be seen from high-traffic areas including Downtown Memphis and Sun Studios. Instead of tearing down the factory and leveling the block, Orion chose to keep the original shape and bones of the building and add a third story. A new, period-appropriate exterior façade is made of reclaimed bricks from the original structure.
